History of Captain Jacobson

'''Captain Masoud Jacobson''' was the captain of the Exodus Black, a colony ship in the Exodus Program. After the ship crash-landed on Nessus, he and surviving crew members were experimented on and killed by the Vex.

Overview

Jacobson is the captain whose recorded messages the Guardian finds in the O Captain, Exodus Black quest. The quest shows him going out alone to reach the satellite array, believing it is the crew's only chance of rescue. His Mayday confirms that the ship crashed on Nessus.

Legacy

A Nessian frog the Guardian finds while investigating Conductor's plans was later named after him by Failsafe, honoring him "in spirit".
