History of Captain's Coins

Overview

Captain's Coins were the currency of the Season of Plunder community event, which ran from November 22 to December 6. Players donated them at the Donation Chest in the Tower to help the Eliksni Quarter and to earn reward packages.

Acquisition

Coins came from Destination chests (3 each), Lost Sector chests (14), Ketchcrash (50), Expedition (50) and King's Fall encounters (100 each). Strikes, Crucible and Gambit could also drop them while the "Parts of a Whole" emblem was equipped.

Community goals

The community donation goal had seven tiers, from 40 million to 400 million coins. The community reached the final goal, which unlocked all Donation Chest rewards until the season ended.
