History of Candescent Gauntlets

Overview

The Candescent Gauntlets is a Legendary Titan Gauntlets from the Candescent armor set, released with Solstice of Heroes in 2022 during Season of the Haunted. Its flavor text reads: "Upgrade this item using Kindling and Embers obtained during Solstice 2022.". The Titan set is Candescent Helm, Candescent Gauntlets, Candescent Plate, Candescent Greaves and Candescent Mark. Wearing any one piece lets players earn Silver Leaves from Solstice activities, and wearing more pieces yields more.

Each armor piece takes six Kindling to fully upgrade, and fully rekindling a piece unlocks its glow. A fully kindled piece can then be rerolled with a Glowing Ember for 60 Silver Ash (Shacknews, July 2022); guides from 2022 give no other reroll figure, and the event's systems are not active now.

Acquisition

• Speaking to Eva Levante in the Tower during Solstice 2022 gives the full Titan set on first interaction, including this piece.
• Extra copies drop from Bonfire Bash or can be bought from Eva.
• Solstice 2022 ran for three weeks and ended in August 2022. Sources from that time give no route to the piece after the event.
