History of Cabal Magma Launcher

Overview

The Cabal Magma Launcher is a Solar Defoliant Projector that fires incendiary fuel as a stream. It is used exclusively by Incendior troops of the Cabal, and it first appeared in Destiny 2.

Firing

It shoots puffs of Solar flame at moderate range, and the stream can be arced to reach farther. Its slow projectiles rarely hit moving targets beyond optimal range. Holding the trigger charges a short-range Compression Blast that knocks targets back a long distance.

Burning

Flames that land on a surface leave residual fire that deals lingering burning damage to targets that stay in it.

Variants

Rare Taken Incendiors carry the Orphic Flame Tank, which fires black-tinged Solar flames. Its charged shot is an Umbral Blast that leaves a burning pool of Void flames.
