History of Cabal Gold

Cabal Gold is a Season of the Chosen triumph in the Battlegrounds quests category: "Pillage Cabal Gold." (Category per light.gg listing seen in search results; light.gg itself blocked.)

How to complete

1. Cabal Gold is a Season of the Chosen currency dropped randomly from activities such as playlist Strikes (including the Nightfall), Gambit, the Crucible, public events, Dungeons, Nightmare Hunts and the Blind Well.
2. Drops are random; if an activity gives none, switch to another.
3. You hold up to 42 at first, upgradeable to 84 at the War Table in the H.E.L.M..
4. The gold is spent with the Hammer of Proving to socket medallions for the Battlegrounds playlist. The exact amount the triumph requires is not stated in the sources I read.

Notes

Seasonal content from 2020; may be unobtainable now. Shacknews' Chosen seal guide mentions it only as a quest triumph, not a seal requirement.
