History of Built to Blast

Overview

Built to Blast is a trait that gives aim assist, stability and flinch resistance while you have a defensive buff: Woven Mail, Frost Armor or Void Overshield. It rolls on a large pool of weapons across archetypes, so it is mostly a quality-of-life perk for builds that keep one of those buffs up.

Sources do not agree on the buff values. One Lightfall-era guide says Woven Mail gives 60% damage resist in PvE for 10 seconds; Destructoid says 45%. Frost Armor's stack cap is reported as 5 in one guide and 8 in Bungie's Final Shape preview. The amount of aim assist and stability from Built to Blast was not confirmed.
