History of Break the Bank

Overview

Break the Bank is one of the two traits on Witherhoard, an Exotic Grenade Launcher. Blighted targets take damage over time, and a blighted target leaves a new blight area when it dies.

It pairs with the intrinsic Primeval's Torment, which creates blight on impact on the target or the ground around it. Each blight kill creates another blight that spreads to nearby enemies, so the pair can chain indefinitely. Players used the combination to take down raid bosses quickly.

The Witherhoard catalyst comes from Banshee-44 through the Bank Job quest.
