History of Brand

The Brand is a King's Fall raid mechanic built around two buffs, the Brand of the Unraveler and the Brand of the Weaver, and a role called the Brand Claimer.

Mechanic

• Players take the Brand of the Unraveler (left side) or the Brand of the Weaver (right side). Kills while holding a Brand build stacks of Deathsinger's Power, and a holder is on a 30 second timer that kills them if it runs out.
• A Brand Claimer buff is earned by killing a Wizard and then a Blightguard Taken Knight on the balconies. The Claimer interacts with a Brand holder to take their Brand, which lets the holder deposit their stacks and resets the timer.
• The team rotates the roles until about 200-250 stacks are banked (The Gamer's figure).

Triumphs

Kingslayer title triumphs involve it: Devious Thievery requires that no one holds the Brand Claimer buff for more than five seconds, and Brand Buster requires that nobody takes the Brand a second time until everyone else has used it once (Shacknews).
