History of Blightguard

Overview

Blightguards are Major Taken Knight enemies in the King's Fall raid. Their main job is to protect the Brand Claimer buff.

Role

Killing a Blightguard drops the Brand Claimer buff, which lets a player take the Brand of the Unraveler or Brand of the Weaver in the Totems encounter. They appear in the Basilica and Warpriest encounters, and a Blightguard spawns on the Totems balcony after a Wizard there is killed.

Tips

Burst weapons such as shotguns and fusion rifles, and grenades and melee, are recommended.
