History of Blighted Chimaera

Overview

Hefnd's Vengeance, also called the Blighted Chimaera, is a unique Taken Chimera and the final boss of Warlord's Ruin. It first appeared in Season of the Wish.

The Chimera is the blighted avatar of Hefnd, an Ahamkara slain by Shaxx during the Great Ahamkara Hunt. Taken power later corrupted the Ahamkara's resting place, and the Chimera's vengeful wish against the House of Kings, which killed Naeem, raised Hefnd's avatar into an army of Scorn.

Mechanics

Cleansing the corrupted totems during the fight gives Guardians the Vengeful Corruption debuff. It must be passed to a Corrupted Hex-Drinker by melee before it kills the player.
