History of Blast Furnace

Overview

Blast Furnace is a Legendary Aggressive Burst Pulse Rifle in the Kinetic slot. Its flavor text reads "Forged in the hottest fires." Game Rant and Dexerto both describe its return in the Into the Light update with a wider perk pool. Dexerto says it originally came from Black Armory forge runs and was sunset in November 2020.

Dexerto's PvE pick is Kinetic Tremors with Firefly, and its PvP pick is Headseeker with Kill Clip. Game Rant's PvE pick is Tactical Mag, Kinetic Tremors and One For All, and its PvP pick is Arrowhead Brake, Accurized Rounds with Zen Moment or Headseeker and Rapid Hit or Kill Clip. Game Rant gives base stats of 79 Range, 64 Stability and 24 Handling.

Acquisition

• EndgameXpress says it drops randomly from Onslaught, and that you can target-farm it with a quest from Arcite in the Hall of Champions, then attune it for a higher drop chance from Shaxx's chest and Onslaught.
• The game data attached to this page lists activities including Quickplay and the Override events, and says it has random perks and cannot be reacquired from Collections.
• No opened source states whether it can be crafted or has an Adept version.
