History of Blade pieces

Overview

Blade pieces are the fragments of a broken sword recovered in step 7 of Lost Lament, the quest for The Lament exotic sword. The pieces come from the Glassway strike. Banshee-44 uses them to rebuild The Lament.

Acquisition

Most guides say the pieces drop from enemies at the end of The Glassway strike, with one report pointing to a boss that spawns with the other bosses in the final fight. Some players report needing several runs before one drops. Sources disagree on the exact enemy, so treat the boss as the most consistent account rather than a confirmed rule.

After collecting the pieces, return to Banshee-44 at the Tower to receive the Broken Blade, then complete the rest of the quest.
