'''Biting Cold''' is a debuff added to the Home, Part II mission of Found in the Dark. The mission repeats the previous one with Biting Cold layered on top.

The debuff slowly ticks down throughout the mission, and the player dies immediately when it reaches zero. Standing near the fire pits spread across the level resets the timer.
