History of Battleground: Core

Overview

Third of the Episode: Echoes Battlegrounds missions, a 1-3 player mission into the core of Nessus against Vex and Taken. Launched via Battleground: Echoes / Battleground: Echoes (Expert); the last step of the "A Rising Chorus" Act 2 battleground trio after Battleground: Delve and Battleground: Conduit.

Encounters

Kill Taken and destroy Taken Blights by collecting Essence from Essence Bearers, cross Vex structures, then fight Antioptes, Hypogean Sentinel, a Vex Mind with rotating detainment walls; Failsafe helps disable its barrier. A specimen collectible is in the rally-banner room before the boss.
