Overview
Barrel perks are weapon perks that provide stats and utility tied to a weapon's barrel, usually affecting Range, Stability, Handling and Recoil Direction (Destiny Game Wiki). They sit in their own perk column on Legendary weapons.
Examples
- Arrowhead Brake: recoil management and responsiveness.
- Full Bore: large range gain (+15) at a cost to stability (-10) and handling.
- Fluted Barrel: fast handling.
- Smallbore: balanced range and stability.
- Shotgun-only barrels: Full Choke (tighter spread when aiming) and Smoothbore (range at the cost of spread).
- Some IKELOS weapons have a Trench Barrel, reclassified as a trait, granting damage, handling and reload speed after melee hits.
