Banner Shield is the guarding mode of the Sentinel Shield Super used by the Sentinel Titan subclass. It creates a defensive wall that allies can shoot through for increased weapon damage. In Update 9.5.0 (December 2, 2025), Bungie documented that allies guarding behind the shield gain a Void Overshield, the damage bonus was reduced to 25%, and blocking extends Super lifetime and charges Shield Throw damage. Bungie announced weapon auto-reload as a later 9.5.0.1 change, so it is not described here as part of 9.5.0’s shipped behavior.
