History of Banned Weapon

Overview

Banned Weapon is the intrinsic of Crimson, an Exotic Kinetic Hand Cannon. The weapon fires a 3-round burst. Its exotic trait, Cruel Remedy, heals the wielder on kills and refills the magazine on precision kills.

Crimson is popular in PvP for its burst-fire 1v1 play. Sources disagree on how to get it: light.gg lists exotic engrams and rare drops, while other guides name Xûr. Older guides claim the 3-round burst is unique to Crimson among hand cannons; that is from the Curse of Osiris era and may not hold now. Verify the current source before farming.
