History of Bane of Sorrow

Overview

Bane of Sorrow is a Legendary Void Machine Gun with a High-Impact Frame. Its flavor text is a quote from Emperor Calus: "A Reefborn heavy implement, rewritten with Hive voices to make way for Gahlran the failed. Now yours." The original dropped from the Crown of Sorrow raid (Season of Opulence; 360 RPM, 48-round magazine). A curated roll is Corkscrew Rifling, High-Caliber Rounds, Outlaw and Dragonfly. For the Pantheon version, a strong roll is Arrowhead Brake, Extended Mag and Destabilizing Rounds with Killing Tally or Mega Kill Clip, plus a Reload Speed masterwork.

Acquisition

• Original: a Crown of Sorrow raid reward.
• Pantheon reissue: it drops from Pantheon bosses, and once a boss-exclusive drop is obtained it can drop from any boss. See Weapons of the Pantheon.
