History of Axion Bolt

Overview

Axion Bolt is a Void grenade. It is described in game as a bolt of Void Light that forks into smaller bolts on impact. It began as a Warlock grenade and has been available to all Guardians since Season of the Risen.

Mechanics

On landing, the grenade implodes and pulls enemies inward, then releases seekers that home in on up to three targets within the blast area. Each seeker deals heavy damage. Chaos Accelerant lets the grenade be charged: a charged Axion Bolt releases 2 extra seekers that travel 25% faster and scan for enemies again 1 second after landing.

Subclasses

Axion Bolt is one of the Void grenades available to the Voidwalker, Nightstalker and Sentinel subclasses.
