History of Austringer

Overview

Austringer is a Kinetic Hand Cannon, one of the weapons from the Menagerie activity aboard the Leviathan. Its flavor text describes it as an Earth artifact refashioned to suit the Emperor's modest tastes, a nod to Emperor Calus.

Acquisition

Earned from the Menagerie with the Chalice. The recipe is Rune of Desire (green) plus any red rune; runes are bought from Benedict in the Tower or Werner on the Nessus Barge, or found in activities, and a single rune gives a small chance of the weapon. The sources are from the Haunted era or earlier, so check in-game for current availability. One season guide lists it as returning in Season of the Haunted.
