History of Asterion

'''Asterion''', also called Asterion, Set Apart, is an Ultra-ranked Taken Captain. The Taken Captain is a miniboss in The Shattered Throne dungeon, which was introduced with Destiny 2: Forsaken.

Location

Asterion guards the door to the bridge that leads to the "The Narrow Pathway" encounter. The fight takes place in the early section of the dungeon, past the Taken Ogre landing. Defeating Asterion opens that door. The route then continues to the main bosses, Vorgeth, the Boundless Hunger and the final boss Dûl Incaru, the Eternal Return.

Asterion uses a Taken Shrapnel Launcher.
