History of Ascended

Ascended is the Dreaming City buff, also called Ascendance, granted by consuming a Tincture of Queensfoil. It lasts 30 minutes.

While Ascended, a Guardian can see hidden secrets across the Dreaming City, including hidden platforms, Ascendant chests and portals to Ascendant Challenges. The Tincture is the only item in Destiny that reveals pockets of the Ascendant Realm.

Consuming a Tincture while fully equipped in the Reverie Dawn suit gives the suit its Taken appearance.
