History of Ascendant Alloy

Overview

Ascendant Alloy is an Exotic material used in weapon shaping for enhanced perks. Bungie’s crafting guide says Alloys are required for Enhanced Traits and have a maximum capacity of 30.

Acquisition

Bungie’s crafting guide lists weekly campaign missions, certain vendor reward tracks, the Season Pass and purchase from the Tower Cryptarch as broad acquisition routes. These categories can vary by expansion or season. A Destiny Game Wiki page accessed 9 October 2026 additionally lists a weekly purchase from Master Rahool for 10 Enhancement Prisms and 10,000 Glimmer, Banshee-44 rank rewards, Competitive placement and weekly challenge rewards, and some quest or event rewards; confirm current vendor and activity screens because those details can change.
