History of Artifacts and Old Friends

Artifacts and Old Friends is a lore triumph for the Lore Book entry of the same name in A Drifter's Gambit, a lore book added with Destiny 2: Forsaken (29 August 2018 per Ishtar Collective).

Overview

The entry is a first-person account of meeting the Drifter, who claims to have brought back an "artifact" from somewhere cold enough to snuff out Light, and drops a tip about where an old friend is hiding. Lore triumphs like this complete when the entry is unlocked.

How to complete

The game text gives no objective, and neither source I opened states the exact unlock step. Lore book entries of this era are normally unlocked by completing the activities of Gambit and Drifter-related content and checking the Collections / Triumphs lore tab for the locked entry. Treat the exact trigger as unverified and check the in-game tooltip.
