Overview

Artesia Mons, Venus: Bounty Hunt is the Bounty Hunt job of the Lawless Frontier set at Artesia Mons on Venus. Type: Lawless Frontier job (matchmade or private fireteam of up to three). Destination: Venus. Launch it from the Lawless Frontier destination and objective menu at the Tharsis Outpost. I could not confirm a fixed power requirement from the sources opened; jobs scale in difficulty as they progress. This variant is reported by guides to be tied to a destination keycard (an exotic keycard for the area) rather than the ordinary rotation; sources I could open did not describe the keycard's acquisition, so check in-game.

The Lawless Frontier is the flagship activity of Destiny 2: Renegades, a 3-player instanced PvE activity (with optional PvP invasions) run from the Tharsis Outpost. Fireteams pick a destination and job, choose two Renegade Abilities in the hangar and deploy by ship. Jobs last roughly 30 minutes and escalate in difficulty; health does not regenerate on its own, so players collect health pickups from destructible objects. Completing a job and exfiltrating pays out lockboxes and loot and raises reputation with the faction that offered the contract (The Pikers, Tharsis Reformation or Totality Division). Dark Matter Ingots from contracts buy faction rewards.

Encounters and mechanics

1. Gather intel (collectibles dropped by defeated enemies) on the target.
2. Clear an area of four waves of enemies.
3. Eliminate the boss target, then exfiltrate.

Optional: players with Deathmark currency can invade a run as a hostile Guardian, so watch for invaders during the job.

Lockboxes and loot on a successful exfiltration, faction reputation, and Dark Matter Ingots from priority contracts.
