History of Arkborn

The Arkborn are sapient beings of Arc energy that live in arks, interstellar conduits larger than the Leviathan, which they cannot normally leave. The name puns on "ark" and "Arc".

Lore

Calus threatened them; one, the Fulminator, joined his Shadows in exchange for a containment suit and his promise to leave her kind alone. He broke it, using his Councilors to seize several Arkborn and imprison them in the Menagerie in a section honoring the Fulminator. They were first mentioned in the Cabal booklet and referenced in Season of Opulence; see the Fulminator Suit.
