History of Anomalous Weapon Part

The Anomalous Weapon Part is a quest item obtained during Magnum Opus II, the Season 15 follow-up quest for Forerunner. The quest begins with the Anomalous Access Card bought from Xûr once the player reaches Rank 16 in Dares of Eternity. After completing the quest's 225,000-point objective in Dares of Eternity, the player is instructed to bring the part to Banshee-44 in the Tower to install it on Forerunner.

Reward

Completing the hand-in awards the Forerunner Catalyst, the final step of the quest. The catalyst still needs some kills fed to it before it can be used.
