History of Ancient Gospel

Ancient Gospel is a Legendary Void Adaptive Hand Cannon from the Garden of Salvation raid. Its flavor text quotes a member of the Kentarch 3 fireteam. All Garden of Salvation weapons carry the Photoinhibition origin trait: bonus damage to shields and overshields, and breaking a shield disorients the target and, if energy-matched, nearby enemies.

Acquisition

Drops from the third (Consecrated Mind) encounter of Garden of Salvation, originally released with Shadowkeep. It is craftable in the current game. After Episode: Revenant, the raid's weapons were updated with new perks.
