History of Ammonites

Overview

The Ammonites were a species of bony, six-armed cephalopods that evolved on an icy moon of Fundament. Their civilization built spacefaring technology that spanned all fifty-two of Fundament's moons, and they were led by Chroma-Admiral Rafriit.

History

The Traveler became the Ammonites' patron, and they revered the Leviathan, the Traveler's disciple, almost as much. The Hive, led by the sisters including Xivu Arath and Savathûn, waged a war against them. In the last days, the Leviathan tried to flee toward the Ammonites' capital moon, but Rafriit and his guard were defeated. Xivu Arath ordered Ir Uulxal to kill the Leviathan, and he did. The Ammonites were wiped out, and the Hive later converted their moons into mobile fortresses.
