History of Allegrian Jack

Allegrian Jack is a fishing triumph earned by catching one Allegrian Jack, a rare-rarity fish.

== Where ==

The fish is listed under the Nessus pond (the Cistern). Fishing ponds exist in three places: the Outskirts in the European Dead Zone, the Cistern on Nessus, and the Miasma in the Court of Savathûn. Some fish appear in more than one pond, but Gfinity lists Allegrian Jack on Nessus only.

== How to fish ==

Get Fishing Tackle from Suraya Hawthorne (introduced in Season of the Deep).

Collect Bait from other activities (strikes, public events, patrols, collecting materials, Deep Dives); heroic public events are a quick source.

Stand at the pond edge and cast. When a fish bites, press interact quickly for a Perfect Catch, which yields rarer and larger fish.

Repeat until an Allegrian Jack comes up. Catching Legendary or better fish also fills the communal Focused Fishing bar, which raises spawn rates of scarcer fish.

The sources I opened do not name a specific bait that targets Allegrian Jack, so it appears to be a matter of repeated casts.
