History of Alak'nar

Overview

Alak'nar, Retainer of Savathûn, is a boss of the Altars of Summoning activity, a three-player matchmade Season of the Witch activity in the Court of Savathûn. He appears in the Lucent Tribute encounter, where players defeat him and deposit Burdens of Tribute.

Mechanic

Alak'nar shields himself with Lucent Totems. Players defeat Tribute Bearers to collect Burdens of Tribute, then deposit them at the Totems to lower his shield. The activity has a seven-minute timer.

Tithes

The activity's tithes go to Eris Morn, not to the altars. Players make Feeble, Robust or Powerful offerings at an altar, and more powerful offerings fill more of the completion bar. Once the bar fills, Eris collects the tithes and teleports away.
