History of Alacrity

Alacrity is the Origin Trait carried by Trials of Osiris weapons.

Effect

"Gain increased reload, stability, aim assist, and range when you are the last living member of your fireteam or running solo." (Destiny 2 Wiki, quoting the in-game text.)

Notes

• Introduced in Season of the Risen (Season 16), alongside the Witch Queen origin trait system. TheGamer's origin trait guide lists it as the Trials trait.
• It fills the role the earlier Celerity perk had on Adept Trials weapons, which was shelved when origin traits arrived.
• Trials weapons can roll with both Alacrity and the core activity trait One Quiet Moment (per search summaries of the GameSpot-hosted coverage); only one origin trait is active at a time.
