History of Aksis

Aksis, Archon Prime, was the Fallen leader of the Devil Splicers, the bio-engineers of the House of Devils, and the main antagonist of Rise of Iron. He was once a disgraced machine priest. He returned to his broken House after its Archon and Prime Servitor were lost and claimed the Archon title himself, and the Devil Splicers worshiped him as a god.

During the SIVA Crisis, Aksis ordered Golden Age labs searched for weapons against The City. His forces found SIVA, a Golden Age nanotechnology, in the walled-off Plaguelands. He modified himself extensively with SIVA to become more machine than Fallen, losing his need for Ether. He renamed himself Archon Prime and planned to spread SIVA to the Fallen and destroy the Guardians.

He hid in his Perfection Complex beneath the Cosmodrome while Splicers brought him SIVA offerings. He is the final boss of the Wrath of the Machine raid, which has two phases. Guardians must destroy the source of the SIVA infection and then assassinate him in the Perfection Complex. His abilities include summoning turrets and nodes, SIVA swarms and teleporting.
