History of Agricultural Center

Overview

The Agricultural Center is an area of the Aionian Campus on Kepler in The Edge of Fate. It is the setting of Mission: Fallow, the first mission of the Central Academy Strangelet quest. Vex are sabotaging the last stable food production on Kepler, and up to three players can take on the mission.

Walkthrough

1. Start at the Aionian Campus and take the portal to the Agricultural Center.
2. Use a Matterspark device to enter the vent in the first room and get past the barrier.
3. Defeat the Uplifted Choral Minotaur that guards the next small entrance, then destroy the Vex cube blocking it.
4. Use Matterspark to pass behind a barrier, destroy the Fallen device there, and open the nearby door with the Aionian Terminal.
5. Some Vex cubes are guarded by Uplifted Choral Minotaurs. Defeating the Minotaur makes the cube vulnerable, so destroy it to clear the barriers.
6. Transmit the three food caches to safety. Vex shield the food, so clear the shields first.
7. Fallen devices lower the Vex barriers and immunity shields. Reach them through the vents with Matterspark.
8. The final cache is behind a large barrier. Place a Rally Banner near it to spawn the Devastator Mind.

Devastator Mind

The Devastator Mind leads Vex spawns and dives underground to regain an immunity shield after it loses about a third of its health. To restore its vulnerability, defeat the minotaur guarding the side where a Vex cube spawns, then use Matterspark to enter the small openings after destroying that cube. Do this twice. Defeat the Devastator Mind, then use the nearby terminal to unlock Rosetta II, and use the terminal near the barrier blocking the final cache to finish the mission.

Rewards

A chest appears nearby with Timelost Spirit Bloom, Enhancement Cores, Glimmer and equipment. Rosetta II lets you understand the Aionians language and interact with more Aionian devices and ciphers.
