History of Adaptive Frame

Overview

Adaptive Frame is an intrinsic weapon perk: "A well-rounded grip, reliable and sturdy." It appears on auto rifles, hand cannons, pulse rifles, sidearms, submachine guns, fusion rifles, grenade launchers, rocket launchers and sniper rifles. Its effect scales with the weapon: auto rifles gain a damage bonus and hand cannons gain maximum range.

Effects

Shattered Vault describes weapons with this frame as having no stability or range problems, with a good rate of fire. The Destiny 2 wiki lists a value of 15.75 for auto rifle damage and 20 m for hand cannon maximum range, but does not explain what the values mean, and the page was last edited in 2022, so the figures may be out of date.

Tips

The sword version, Adaptive Frame (Sword), is a separate perk with a heavy uppercut attack.
