History of Acts of Mercy

Overview

Acts of Mercy is a lore book that follows Lord Saladin, an Iron Lord in the Dark Age, as he deals with the consequences of showing mercy. Its entries unlock as steps of the Over Your Dead Body triumph are completed.

Entries

1. I - Violent Tributaries: Saladin is ambushed by Risen raiders, is left wounded and hanging from a tree branch, and fights his way free.
2. II - Wake: He recovers and meets Kepre, a villager whose pig was stolen. The village asks for his help.
3. III - Plea Deal: He tracks the thief to a bunker and finds a young girl, Fera. He spares her, takes her into his pack, and then destroys the camp of Warlord Jaxxen.
4. IV - Few Words Between Them: Years later he returns to find Kepre's village destroyed. He finds Fera, now a violent leader, and is forced to kill her.
