History of Act II Key Fieldwork

Overview

Act II Key Fieldwork is the capstone Fieldwork quest of Act II of Revenant. Eido, the Apothecary in the Tonic Laboratory in The Last City, asks you to carry out key fieldwork to help her tonic research. It is a seasonal story activity (listed power 1900) and unlocks only after the earlier Fieldwork tiers are done: complete the Act II Minor and Major Fieldwork (unlocked by installing the Autoclave from your first Tomb of Elders run in the Tonic Laboratory, via the Grave Robber quest).

Walkthrough

1. Speak with Eido and finish the Minor and Major Fieldwork first.
2. Run fieldwork in the Tomb of Elders, defeating more of Fikrul's Revenant forces.
3. Salvage the tech and return it to Eido.

Upgrades earned this act include Tomb Reaper (more bonus-objective rewards in the Tomb of Elders) and Excess Tonics (higher chance of extra tonics while brewing), per ProGameTalk.

Rewards

A tonic Laboratory upgrade that unlocks new brewing possibilities and recipes. Related Fieldwork tiers pay out reagent sacks, and Eido's progression is also reported to give Ascendant materials and an Exotic sparrow (Dexerto).
