History of Acolyte Eyes

Overview

Acolyte Eyes are hidden eyes inside the cave of Facet of Defiance in The Transgression, the final area of The Pale Heart. Guides also call them Eyes of Suffering.

Location

The cave is entered by following the left-hand wall of Transgression to a cave with a seed. Touching the seed grants the Shielded from Darkness buff, which keeps you alive inside. Keep that buff active, since the cave is full of Darkness that poisons you.

Fight

Use the Darkness device at the back of the cave to start the encounter. Destroy the eyes, which are spread through the tunnels, to make the Husk enemies vulnerable. Destroying some of them spawns more enemies, which you must defeat before more eyes appear. Sources differ on how many rounds of eyes are needed. Once they are done, a Tormentor appears. Defeating it drops a Prismatic Key for the chest that holds the Facet of Defiance.
