History of Ace

'''Ace''' is the name Cayde-6 gave to his son, addressed in a journal he kept as an Exo.

== Overview ==

Ace is described as a human son whom Cayde largely forgot after entering the Exo program. Cayde kept a journal addressed to Ace, and named his hand cannon Ace of Spades after him. Facing death in Forsaken, Cayde says "I'm coming home, Ace."

== Was Ace real? ==

Cayde admits in the lore entry "Bad Beat" that he does not know "the kid" or "the woman" and that "they are not real." Sources say Ace may have been a forgery or a distortion of earlier memories, used by Cayde to cope with being reborn. See also All-In.
