History of Access Module

The Access Module is a blue Vex Module (ACCESS) used in the Encore Exotic mission. Installed in its bowl, it opens Vex portals, and it activates the teleporters that connect the research stations of the Ishtar Research Facility, deep in the core of Nessus. Each module activates a nearby portal and moves the team to the next part of the fight.

Acquisition

• Dropped by the bosses Iziira and Eexonios at about 67% health.
• Carried by the ACCESS Module Bearer in the jungle, and dropped by Independent Variables in the Confronting the Hydras encounter when the boss reaches half health.
• Dropped by Hobgoblin and Fanatic adds in the City Traversal, per Destinypedia.

Some guides say the modules come in pairs: a module used on one portal is taken out and used on the exit portal.
