History of Absorption Cells

Absorption Cells is the intrinsic perk on Mantle of Battle Harmony. Final blows or sustained damage with weapons matching the equipped Super damage type grant Super energy. At full Super energy, the perk instead grants a temporary matching-type weapon damage bonus; after the Super is spent, matching elemental weapon damage briefly causes explosions around targets. Bungie’s Update 9.7.0 added sustained weapon damage as an additional trigger alongside final blows.
