History of A Cry from Beyond

Overview

A Cry from Beyond is the first mission of the Hawkmoon Exotic questline, added in Season of the Hunt. The mission description reads "A memory of a dream has led to a question. What lies inside the Hallowed Grove?" and it takes place in the European Dead Zone (the Hallowed Grove Lost Sector area). Recommended power is listed as 1180 in the game data.

How to launch

Speak to Spider on The Tangled Shore (per Hold to Reset) to start it, as part of the "Let Loose Thy Talons" quest line. The mission is short, easy and runs in its own instance.

Rewards

Completing it unlocks the next step, "As the Crow Flies", which has you find five hidden feathers across the system and return them to Spider, progressing toward the Hawkmoon hand cannon.

Notes

Sources are incomplete and partly disagree about where it starts (Spider on the Tangled Shore versus a start in the EDZ); verify in-game.
