History of ALGIA

ALGIA is a Lore triumph for an entry in the lore book Triage, added in Season of the Haunted (31 May 2022). It has no in-game description; it unlocks the entry.

How to unlock

Triage unlocks by progressing the Severance seasonal triumph from Season of the Haunted (per Destinypedia). Each entry unlocks as that line progresses; ALGIA is the fifth of the book's seven entries (CENTESIS, RRHAPHY, TAXIA, ESTHESIA, ALGIA, RRHEXIS, LYSIS). These were seasonal and may be hard to complete now, so check your Triumphs tab for what remains.

Entry summary

Set in the Dark Age, the entry follows Safiyah, the mortal partner of Zavala, during a Fallen attack on their village. A Fallen Captain wounds their son Hakim, whom Zavala had trained to defend the gates. Zavala arrives and kills the Captain, but Hakim is mortally wounded and Safiyah can only hold him. It is the turning point of the book's story of Zavala and Safiyah.
