History of 984-Krios

Overview

984-Krios is a Vex who led the Tharsis Reformation syndicate. He insisted that only he won the syndicate's games, and he took the radiolaria of anyone who disobeyed him. The name comes from the Titan Crius of Greek mythology.

Death

After accusing a Goblin newcomer of cheating, Krios ordered his lieutenant Zephyrus to reclaim the radiolaria. Zephyrus challenged him to a game of Russian roulette for leadership. Krios's Minotaur guard loaded the weapon with a single round and handed it to Zephyrus, who shot Krios in the core. Zephyrus then took over the syndicate as Zephyrus, Autonomous Mind.

The story is told in the Destiny 2: Renegades item descriptions.
