History of 5: Moths to Flame Part II

"5: Moths to Flame Part II" is entry 5 of 19 in the lore book The Pigeon and the Phoenix, a Season of Dawn lore book about Saint-14 and Osiris and their time together before Osiris's exile. The triumph is completed by unlocking the entry, and its in-game description is empty. Entries are read afterwards in the Lore tab.

How to unlock

1. Start the Corridors of Time activity (tied to the Bastion Exotic quest from Season of Dawn).
2. Pick the runes in this order, one per room: Diamond, Plus, Snake, Hexagon, Hexagon, Diamond, Plus.
3. At the end of the pathway the entry drops. Walk forward toward the tomb to be returned to the start, then repeat for the next entry.

The rune sequence comes from a community guide. Rune codes may have changed, so check the guide if a room does not advance.

Summary of the entry

A warlord, Reich, and his armed followers confront Osiris in a forest at night and demand his arm as payment for burning wood on their land. Osiris refuses, turns himself into flame and wields a white-hot blade, defeating the warlord quickly. He captures the warlord's Ghost, and Sagira questions it. It chose its violent Guardian out of fear and need for strength. Sagira tells Osiris the Traveler was wounded when it created the Ghosts and "that pain echoes". The Ghost is released to find a new Lightbearer, and Osiris begins to see possible flaws in the Light.
