History of 3: Burden Part III

"3: Burden Part III" is entry 3 of 19 in the lore book The Pigeon and the Phoenix, a Season of Dawn lore book about Saint-14 and Osiris and their time together before Osiris's exile. The triumph is completed by unlocking the entry, and its in-game description is empty. Entries are read afterwards in the Lore tab.

How to unlock

1. Start the Corridors of Time activity (tied to the Bastion Exotic quest from Season of Dawn).
2. Pick the runes in this order, one per room: Plus, Clover, Diamond, Diamond, Snake, Diamond, Diamond.
3. At the end of the pathway the entry drops. Walk forward toward the tomb to be returned to the start, then repeat for the next entry.

The rune sequence comes from a community guide. Rune codes may have changed, so check the guide if a room does not advance.

Summary of the entry

After the carrier crash the fireteam fights on against the Fallen, led by a Captain, with a Walker. Saint-14 raises a Void shield to hold the line and is battered by the Walker's cannon. Tyv meets incoming bolts with Arc lightning, and Marin gathers his remaining Light into a Void sphere that destroys the Walker. All the Fallen are eliminated. Because Tyv is shown fighting here, Part II's description of her death may be inaccurate in my summary of it; read the in-game text to confirm her fate.

The summary is based on the Ishtar Collective entry page and is paraphrased, not quoted in full.
