History of 16246 Cantor

Overview

16246 Cantor is an asteroid in the Themis Cluster, part of the asteroid belt of the Sol system. It first appeared in Season of Plunder, where it is the site of the Pirate Hideout: The Lucent Brood, the eighth and final Pirate Hideout arena of that season.

Location

Cantor is an arena-type location. The Hive are its hostile race, and the Lucent Brood its enemy faction.

Pirate Hideout

Eido, Daughter of Misraaks, had arranged to meet Eramis, Kell of Darkness, on the asteroid to discuss the Relics of Nezarec. The Lucent Brood ambushed them, and Eido and Eramis held them off until the Guardian and Mithrax, Kell of Light, arrived. Mithrax directs the Guardian to the hideout, which supports one to three players.

The Guardian clears the Hive from the overrun hideout, searches for Eido, and defeats the boss, Hiak'ar, Hoardseeker. After the boss falls, the remaining Hive are cleared and the door is broken down to claim a lost relic.
