History of (Heroic) Unexpected Guests

Overview

(Heroic) Unexpected Guests is the Heroic version of the Unexpected Guests Adventure on Io (Echo Mesa, Lost Oasis). Ikora Rey is worried about Taken activity beneath the moon's surface. Destinypedia lists a recommended power of +120 and that it unlocks after the Sacrilege mission. Gamerant says it is selectable from the Io Destinations tab as part of Zavala's Exodus: Evacuation quest (at the "Double Blind" step) toward the Traveler's Chosen Exotic sidearm. Heroic adventures were removed from the game when the Destiny Content Vault was introduced with Destiny 2: Beyond Light; this entry survives only as an internal/legacy activity record.

Walkthrough

1. Confirm Ikora's intel on the Taken gathering and clear the exterior of Terrabase Charon.
2. Pursue the Taken into the Wraith Mines.
3. Collect and discharge three Arc Charges to collapse the portal.
4. Defeat Iraz, Eye of Savathûn; afterwards Ikora speculates Savathûn has taken Oryx's crown.

Rewards

Progress toward Traveler's Chosen once all four evacuations are done.
