Investigate a Vex network node in the EDZ that has been overwritten with a single word: AVALON.
Overview
//node.ovrd.AVALON// is a secret Exotic mission from Season of Defiance (Destiny 2: Lightfall year), set in the European Dead Zone. It is a 3-player mission with a recommended power of 1800 (power is raised to a minimum of 1790 inside). It rewards the Vexcalibur Exotic glaive and its catalysts. Variants are Customize, Legend and Legendary.
How to start
In The Gulch, find six floating Vex cubes. Walking next to each gives a Simulated Access Code, and you have 30 seconds to reach the next one or start over. After all six, enter the hidden cave and interact with the familiar friend inside to launch the mission.
Encounters
The first encounter introduces the Vex code mechanic: waves of Vex spawn and the room only opens once you enter three Vex codes correctly, each longer than the last. Video guides also cover seven hidden chests and a Legendary run for the catalyst.
